Brick Replacement
Restore Damaged Masonry to Like New Condition
Damaged brickwork can make the exterior your home unattractive and can compromised its integrity. Have it repaired and replaced with an appropriate brick match sourced from local suppliers.
What Causes Bricks to Spall?
As most bricks are made of clay, they absorb moisture more readily than other materials such as concrete.
Water penetrates the bricks and will crystallize during the cold months causing the pores in the brick to expand. This creates a build up of pressure which can lead to spalling of the brick work.
Walkways and high traffic areas that are salted regularity in the winter deteriorate at an even faster rate.

Emphasis on a Good Match
Our number one priority is have our brick repairs blend in with the original wall as much as possible.
Working closely with local brick suppliers, we place a strong emphasis on finding an adequate brick match based on texture, colour and size.
We pay careful attention to mortar dyes and mixing an appropriate mortar that, when fully cured, will match the exiting mortar.

Specialized Tools for Surgical Precision
When replacing bricks on a veneer wall, it is essential to be as non-intrusive as possible to avoid damaging surrounding brickwork.
We use specialized tungsten bladed tools to minimize vibration and dust. This allows mortar joints to be cut out without creating further damage.

Brick Swapping
Exterior brickwork is exposed to the sun, and over decades of exposure, the petina bleaches and fades. This means that new bricks may look different.
To avoid this difference, we can take orignal bricks from a location on your home where the brickwork is not visible (like under a deck or behind a shrubbery), and lay the new brick where it will not be seen, if requested.
